David A. Lipschitz, M.D., Ph.D. is Chair of the Department of Geriatrics and Director of the Center on Aging at UAMS. His research interests include hematopoiesis and nutritional aspects of aging. Dr. Lipschitz is recognized as one of the leading geriatricians in the United States and has given numerous lectures, both nationally and internationally, on aspects of the aging process. He has served as Chair of the Research Committee of the American Geriatrics Society and Chair of the Association of Directors of Geriatric Academic Programs.
