Texarkana Regional Center on Aging
The goal of the Texarkana Regional Center on Aging (TRCOA) is to improve the quality of life for older adults and their families through education and patient care in Southwest Arkansas.
This center serves nine counties in Southwest Arkansas: Little River, Sevier, Howard, Pike, Hempstead, Clark, Nevada, Lafayette, and Miller.

TRCOA Library
Education is provided to older adults and families within their communities or on an individual basis focusing on health promotion, wellness, and disease/illness management. This knowledge allows many older adults and family members to become the gatekeeper of their own health care. The TRCOA also extends the educational opportunities to health care professionals and health care professional students to assist in the knowledge of providing caring to improve quality of life.
Senior Health Center
The TRCOA also partners with CHRISTUS St. Michael Senior Health Clinic in Texarkana to provide patient care through an interdisciplinary team of geriatric specialists including geriatric-trained physicians, a social worker, a dietitian, a geriatric nurse practitioner and nurses. The team assesses an individual’s needs and then develops and executes care plans designed to address the specific needs of the individual.
